Author Tedd Arnold Visits Deerfield Elementary School
Creator of "Fly Guy" and Theodore Geisel Award recipient shares his story with students.
On May 15, students at Deerfield Elementary School in Short Hills got a visit from award-winning author and illustrator Tedd Arnold, author of the “Fly Guy” series.
According to a release, Arnold is a two-time recipient of the Theodore Geisel Award, granted by The American Library Association to honor the most distinguished American books for beginning readers.
Arnold told the story of how he came to write children’s books with the students during three different assemblies. Students also had the opportunity to get personalized, autographed books from Tedd Arnold.
