"Join Mindfulness Facilitator Jean Vitrano for this 4 week series to learn how to practice mindfulness meditation. We will ease our way into learning how to stay in the present moment with whatever may arise by following our breathing. Without trying to stop our thinking, we can nurture our ability to create some space in our minds and bodies and to react less habitually to our thoughts and feelings. In this small group setting, there will be time to explore the issues that arise when meditating and the resistance to doing it. We will practice guided, silent and walking meditation. You will also learn practical mindfulness tools to use throughout the day. By committing to 4 weeks of practice together and to your own daily practice, you will be giving yourself the support of community, and of investing in yourself fully for a period of time so that you can see benefit of having a meditation practice."
