Belt Thief Arrested In Short Hills: Police
Sajaan Tannous tried to conceal item and leave the store without paying, police said.
MILLBURN, NJ - A 40-year-old man from Israel was arrested and charged with theft after an incident with authorities on July 4, according to the Millburn Police Department.
According to authorities, Millburn Police Officer Czupak responded to the Louis Vuitton store at The Mall at Short Hills where personnel reported 40 Sajaan Tannous concealed a belt valued at $750 on his waist and left the store without making payment.
Tannous was placed under arrest and issued a summons before being released, police said.
