Boost your child's creativity this spring!
Visual Arts Center of New Jersey Hosts Spring Break Art Camp
Summit, NJ (March 18, 2016) – Is your child losing his or her innate creativity? Did you know that all young children are naturally artistically talented but without building on those natural skills, kids tend to lose them as they get older? Studies have also proven a direct correlation to arts participation and enhanced performance in traditional academic subjects. The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey wants to help you nurture your child’s artistic talent and is offering a five day creativity-building Art Camp during the week of Spring Break, April 11 through April 16. You can sign your child up for the entire week or single days of camp. Camp runs 10 to 3, and 5-8 and 9-12.
Children will create up to three works of art each day in one or more of these media: painting, mixed media, model-building, pen and ink, collage, and pastel. All instructors are professionally-trained teaching artists, with extensive experience working with children. All materials are included.
