From Proposal to Wedding Day-winter wonderland

When having a winter wedding it might be very tempting to go all out and create a winter wonderland inside your ballroom. But using too many holiday related items will make your wedding look like a family gathering or a holiday party and not your special day. It is wise to pick one or two elements and focus on those and keep the rest of the wedding looking traditional.

One of the Pumpkin Coach Events’ December brides loved the color green, but still wanted to incorporate some winter elements into her New York City wedding. Another easy way to incorporate holidays in your wedding is of course by using holiday related favors. Get inspired by the location of your wedding. For ski resort or country weddings, serve gourmet hot chocolate and miniature marshmallows or ask your caterer to recreate one of your family’s traditional holiday treats. Make little signs explaining the dish or attach a recipe to it and create a personalized farewell gift for your guests.
