The Millburn Short-Hills Democratic Committee is hosting a forum on the importance of inspecting and pruning trees Sunday, April 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Millburn Free Public Library.
Tom Doty, the township forester, will give a presentation on the importance of regular tree inspection and the trimming of trees on residential properties.
Tree care vendors and contractors will be on hand to discuss tree-related problems and make appointments to provide tree service on residential properties that pose a danger to homes or power lines.
