Millburn Police Secretary Charged With Identity Theft, Harassment

A secretary for the Millburn Police Department allegedly left a person's contact information on a "sex hookup" website.

MILLBURN, NJ -- A secretary for the Millburn Police Department was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly impersonating a female resident and creating a false profile in her name on a “sex hookup” website.

Authorities arrested the 35-year-old Springfield resident at 1:25 p.m. at the Millburn Police Department headquarters on Essex Street.

Millburn Police Captain Michael Mulligan told Patch that on April 9, the Springfield resident allegedly went on the adult dating website AdultFriendFinder.com – which bills itself as one of the “largest sex hookup sites in the world” – with the intention of damaging her victim’s reputation.
