Cafe Luna To Bring Taste of Italy Downtown

The mystery has ended on what business will be filling the former Cold Stone Creamery space downtown.

Signs announcing Cafe Luna appeared in the windows this week. The signs say the cafe will feature gelato, sorbeto and Italian desserts. Additionally, the restaurant will serve gourmet salads and panini sandwiches. The sign does not indicate when the shop will open.

The former Cold Stone Creamery at the corner of Main and Essex streets has stood empty since last March when a notice for removal was posted in the window. Cold Stone Creamery sued the former franchise owner because he allegedly continued to operate the business after the franchise agreement ended.
