Capturing a City in Cinema at Millburn Library on March 1, 2019
Emmy-nominated Bongiorno Productions will be at the Millburn Library to discuss their films about Newark, NJ.
The Millburn Free Public Library and the Friends of the Millburn Library are pleased to present Capturing a City in Cinema on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 2:00pm in the auditorium.
Emmy-nominated, award winning, husband-and-wife filmmakers, Marylou and Jerome Bongiorno of Bongiorno Productions, create fiction, documentary, and art films that feature their home city of Newark, New Jersey. These films are widely distributed theatrically, on national television, in museums and galleries, and in educational and cultural venues.
The Bongiornos will screen and discuss clips from their Newark film oeuvre and answer questions about their filmmaking process - from inception to production to editing to distribution.
