Car Burglarized In Short Hills Mall: Police

More than $1,800 in items were taken from a Mercedes Benz in broad daylight, police said.

MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn Police are looking for the person responsible for taking more than $1,800 in items from a car parked at the Short Hills Mall on April 8.

According to authorities, Millburn Police Officer McMillan responded to the mall on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The victim reported that between 2:40-3:40 p.m. someone entered her 2009 Mercedes Benz 350 and took three pairs of sunglasses, one dress, and one shirt for a total value of $1,806, police said.

The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
