Car Crashes Into The Raquets Club in Millburn

A motorist crashed her white sedan into a building at The Raquets Club on Hobart Avenue on Wednesday, prompting several emergency responders from the Millburn Fire Department and township construction officials to respond to the scene.

According to police, the driver stated that she accidentally hit the accelerator as she was traveling north on Short Hills Ave at The Crescent.

The vehicle continued through the parking lot, through a wooden fence, and eventually stopping as it struck the Racquets Club building.

Nobody was injured during the crash, and the accident is under investigation, police said.

The building contained chemicals and chlorine but none were spilled, a report stated.
