Car Crashes Into Snowbank During Millburn Cop Chase
Millburn police arrested three suspects who fled after their vehicle veered into a snow bank at Old Short Hills Road and Kenilworth Drive.

Millburn, NJ – Millburn police arrested three people who led officers on a car chase through snowy township streets in an allegedly stolen car on Saturday.
According to the Millburn Police Department, the incident began when an officer received a stolen vehicle notification for a 2001 Chevy Malibu. The officer spotted a vehicle fitting the description and attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver allegedly kept going east on Millburn Avenue.
The driver continued to elude police, traveling on Old Short Hills Road northbound, until the car eventually crashed into a snow bank and bushes near the corner of Old Short Hills Road and Kenilworth Drive, authorities said.

After the crash, the vehicle’s three occupants bailed out and attempted to flee on foot. Officers apprehended and arrested them after a short pursuit, police stated.
The driver, Jassiem Jackson, 18, of Plainfield, was charged with receiving stolen property and eluding.

Keyson Wallace, 19, of Plainfield, was charged with receiving stolen property.
Laamirah Daniels, 21, of Newark, was charged with receiving stolen property.
Police transported Jackson and Wallace to the Essex County Correctional Facility on default of bail.
Daniels was released with a court date.
