Christmas In July? Trees To Be Trimmed Around Millburn This Week
It's for safety, not a holiday: Trees will be trimmed on many Millburn streets this week to prevent "tree related" power outages.
MILLBURN, NJ — In order to keep their wires and equipment from becoming tangled in tree limbs, JCP&L will be conducting tree trimming along more than two dozen Millburn streets this week.
The power company conducts the trimming in 13 counties each year "as part of [an] annual vegetation management program. This work helps keep power flowing to customers around the clock by preventing tree-related outages."
