$4K Counterfeit Credit Card Purchase Attempted: Millburn Police
Staten Island resident allegedly tried to purchase a Chanel bag with a fake credit card.

MILLBURN, NJ - A phony credit card was used to buy a Chanel bag at Neiman Marcus on Oct. 16, according to the Millburn Police Department.
According to police, Neiman Marcus personnel reported that 26-year-old Sulaeman Balogun of Staten Island used a counterfeit credit card to purchase a Chanel handbag valued at $4000.
Balogun was placed under arrest and charged with theft by deception and identity theft before being released on a summons, police said.
