Credit Card Fraud Arrest In Millburn: Police
Hazel Garcia and Edgardo Cantin were also charged with forgery, police said.
MILLBURN, NJ - A 23-year-old Bronx, NY woman and a 26-year-old Bronx, NY, man were arrested and charged with fraud after trying to purchase more than $2,000 in goods from Macy's, according to the Millburn Township Police.
According to authorities, Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to Macy's on a fraud report where Macy's personnel reported Hazel Garcia and Edgardo Cantin together charged $2,136.40 worth of merchandise with a temporary credit card they opened under someone else's name.
Both were placed under arrest and charged with forgery and credit card fraud before being released on a summons, police said.
