Bollinger Insurance Solutions CEO gives $1,000 bonuses

The chief executive officer of Bollinger Insurance Solutions has paid $1,000 bonuses to 434 employees from his own pay, according to a report in the Daily Record.

Jack Windolf, of the Short Hills-based company, wrote a note to employees saying they needed to "jumpstart the economy." The money is coming from deferred compensation in a sale of a portion of the company, which he elected to direct to his employees, according to the report.
