Deerfield School Students Combine QR Codes With Art Display in Short Hills

Young artists put on an animal-themed showcase including masks and a "walk-through" cave.

Deerfield Elementary School celebrated the artistic talent of its students at an “animal-themed” art show on May 21.

As part of the exhibit, the fourth grade art club created QR codes for each work of art.

  • Kindergarten - Mondrian Animals, Tactile Animal Collages, Aboriginal Drawings, Animal Prints and Masks
  • First Grade - Rainbow Dog Paintings, Carousel Animals, Window with a View Paintings and Ceramic Pinch Pot Animals
  • Second Grade – Animal Molas, Animals on the Farm, Animal Painting, Warm Colored Birds, Sleeping Animals and Animal Sculptures
  • Third Grade – Animals in Motion, Animals on Parade, and Winter Landscapes
  • Fourth Grade – Selfie Portraits, Asian Paintings, Texture Animal Tiles, Underwater Scenes
  • Fifth Grade – Monochromatic Animal Prints, Still-Life Paintings, Animal Designed Contour Shoe Drawings, and Animal Masks
