DMDA Seeks Business Registrations
Registered businesses will be able to vote in the Board of Directors election.

The Downtown Millburn Development Alliance is seeking the names and addresses of new first floor retailers and second floor businesses in order to register them to vote in the 2010 Board of Directors election.
The registration form, which must be submitted in order for a tenant to vote in the election, must be completed and returned to the DMDA office at 350 Millburn Ave. New business registrations must be received in the DMDA office by 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 30. Downtown property owners do not need to register in order to vote in the election.
Ballots for voting in the election will be sent to all property owners and all registered business tenants in October. The results of the 2010 DMDA Board of Directors election will be announced at the DMDA Annual meeting on Nov. 9 at Millburn Town Hall at 6:15 p.m.
Under the revised DMDA by-laws adopted on Sept. 9, starting Jan. 1 the DMDA Board will consist of 15 elected members. Initially, all 15 members will be elected for specified terms of one, two and three years. Thereafter, five members will be elected annually to serve three year overlapping terms.
