Donate Cans, Help Burn Victims In Millburn
ACBC directly benefits patients at the Burn Center at Saint Barnabas.

MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn Fire Department has a collection wagon for the Aluminum Cans for Burned Children (ACBC) program, allowing residents to turn their recycling into help for victims.
The ACBC directly benefits patients at the Burn Center at Saint Barnabas and has raised over two million dollars statewide to benefit burn victims and their families, officials said. As New Jersey’s only designated burn treatment facility, each year The Burn Center admits more than 400 patients, with another 6,000 who are seen on an outpatient basis.
Approximately 40 percent of all admissions are children, most under the age of five years, officials said. Typical injures include scalding from spilled beverages, unsafe hot water temperatures and burns resulting from house fires.
