Downtown Sidewalk Sale Kicks Off

The fall Sidewalk Sale Days kicked off Thursday throughout the downtown area.

There were plenty of sales lining the sidewalks on Millburn Avenue, Main Street and Essex Street, but there were only a few shoppers checking out the deals on Thursday morning.

There is rain in the forecast through Saturday, and the sale is rain or shine. If it rains, the sales will be moved indoors. Some stores—including Roxy Shoes and Deborah Gilbert Smith—have already moved their sales indoors.

The sale is through Saturday and is sponsored by the Downtown Millburn Development Alliance.
