Duo Charged In $2,700 Handbag Theft: Millburn Police

MILLBURN, NJ - A pair of Ohio residents were arrested and charged with theft after an incident with police on Aug. 10, according to authorities.

Millburn Police Officer Marone responded to the Christian Louboutin store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Christian Louboutin personnel reported 40-year-old Jermaine Cousins of Garfield, Ohio and 36-year-old Janise Hines of South Euclid, Ohio concealed two handbags valued at $2,780 into a white bag and left the store without making payment, police said.

Both individuals were placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.
