Eddie Bruce Performs At Paper Mill Fundraiser

The Paper Mill Playhouse is hosting a cocktail party fundraiser with live-entertainment by cabaret and concert performer Eddie Bruce, catered by Exquisite Eintertaining and wine provided by Larkin Wines on at 7 p.m. on Sept. 15. 

The party will also offer rare on-stage access to the historic theater in Millburn.

"This is a true behind the scenes look at Paper Mill Playhouse with unprecedented access to our famed stage," Paper Mill Playhouse Managing Director Todd Schmidt said.

With over 30 years of entertaining, Eddie Bruce will perform a special cabaret act. Bruce performs jazz standards throughout the country and has received raves for his tribute shows to Tony Bennett.

"This on-stage event will be a truly theatrical experience,” Paper Mill’s Producing Artistic Director, Mark S. Hoebee.

Exquisite Entertaining, 270 Davidson Ave., of Somerset, is donating an extensive cocktail menu by Executive Chef Mark Biroc, which features his signature Coconut and Herb-Glazed Sea Scallop Dumplings, Wild American Shrimp, Andouille On Smoked Gouda Grits and Cinnamon Roasted Long Island Duck With Fig and Grape Relish.

Sean Larkin will provide the wine. Larkin recently launched both the Tin Knocker and Grand labels as more affordable options for Napa Valley drinking.

Tickets are $300 per person, $200 of which is tax deductible, and all of the proceeds will go to benefit the many artistic, education and outreach programs of Paper Mill Playhouse.
