4th of July -- Carnival

The "Big Event" in the park is for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m..  It's a grand day of rides, games, history, refreshments and a guaranteed fun time for all ages.

This year's rides include the brand new Amazon Extreme Water Slide, Slip & Slide Water Slide, Tigger Bounce and many other popular favorites. Those with a sense of adventure will enjoy rock wall climbing and bungee jumping while our youngest patriots may ride our famous Train Trolley, hop on a "real live" pony for a trot or try out the new Ocean Adventure inflatable playing space. Kids can test their strength, skill and agility all day with miniature golf, "high strikers" sledgehammer swinging game and the "amazing maze."

Duck Races will take place throughout the day so listen for the announcements and pick your duck for the great race down the Taylor Park "rapids." Yellow, blue and pink ducks will be racing on the hour beginning at noon. It only costs a "buck a duck" and prizes are awarded for each heat.

The "Old Fashioned 4th" spirit will be in full force with our popular Family Field Games, including 3-legged races, water balloon tosses, sack races and more.  Don't forget to "chill out" and "pig out" at the same time with our watermelon eating contest.

Continuing a Millburn Fourth tradition, the Morgan Rifles Revolutionary War encampment will be on hand to give a living depiction of what it was like in the days of our country's founding.

Ever want to work a real front loader?  Our public works department is generously providing kids the opportunity to sit in the rig with one of the operators and operate the big shovel.

They'll be plenty of "all-American" refreshments on hand—hot dogs, ice cream, cotton candy, real "Philly" pretzels and much more.

Tickets for the entire day/night festivities are $10 in advance and $12 at the park (all rides & games included). "Fireworks Only" tickets are $5 and can be paid at the gates of the field that evening.

Advance sale tickets will be available at various locations around town, including the recreation department office at Town Hall, The Millburn Deli, Bunchers Hardware, Futters Shoes, Michael's Hair Salon and LaStrada Pizza.
