Big Band Extravaganza

The Hilton Short Hills ballroom will be the setting for a Big Band Night on Friday, March 12 featuring John Nobile's Summer Swing Orchestra. The event is being sponsored by the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce and Investors Savings Bank, the Chamber's Principal Leading sponsor.

Guests will enjoy a 17-piece Big Band; complementary dancing lessons; a wine tasting, courtesy of Gary's Wine and Marketplace in Bedminster; a buffet dinner and a live and ticket auction.

Auction items will include a celebratory case of boutique vintage wines from the private collection of Ralph Tarnofsky, wine enthusiast and owner of Professional Audio Consultants; four orchestra seats to the Paper Mill Playhouse's Opening Night performance of Smokey Joes's Café and a post-show celebration with the cast; a round of golf at Canoe Brook Country Club, hosted by Investors Savings Bank and an original print "Devil's Loop Line" by artist Tom Mosser signed by the 2007-2008 New Jersey Devils players and staff.

Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m.  The cost of tickets is $79 per person or $700 for a table of ten.
