In addition to fun, food and entertainment, fair attendees are being asked to donate new and used bicycle and skateboard helmets to Opportunity Project, Inc.’s Brain Injury Awareness campaign.  Donors can bring their helmets to the Opportunity Project table. Donated helmets will be distributed, through the Community Food Bank in Hillside, to youngsters in underserved communities. Medical research shows that 85% of cyclists’ brain injuries can be prevented by wearing a helmet.
