Farmers Market Fall Festival

On Tuesday, October 19, the Millburn Farmers' Market will hold a Fall Festival in celebration of the apple and pumpkin harvest.  The festival starts at 10:00am and ends at 2:00pm in Parking Lot #1 at Essex and Main Streets.

All bakers are invited to submit a home baked pie for the Apple and/or Pumpkin Pie Contest.  Contact Downtown Millburn at  Info@downtownmillburn.org or call at 973-379-2341 for an application.

The schedule of events are: 10:00am to 12:00pm a food tasting by Osteria Mediterrania; 11:30am – 12:30pm a wine tasting by Hank Zona of Swirl Wine Events; 12:00pm – 2:00pm a cheese and dessert sampling by Epeciere Fine.

Music will entertain the shoppers while complimentary samples of apples, apple cider, apple and pumpkins pies and cider donuts will be offered.  Enter the contest to guess the weight of the pumpkin and receive a prize in addition to the free drawing for a gift basket containing apple and pumpkin related items.

The market is held every Tuesday from 8:00am to 2:00pm through October 26.

A food drive is ongoing at the market to benefit the food pantry at the American Red Cross – Millburn Chapter.
