The Millburn-Short Hills Democratic Committee is proud to sponsor the showing of the documentary film "Gasland" at the Millburn Public Library.
The point of this film is to educate the public on the dangers of "fracking" the process by which high pressure water and chemicals are injected deep into rock formations in order to release natural gas for combustion.
The film will be shown beginning at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. After this showing Jennifer Duckworth of the Millburn Environmental Commission will lead a discussion about the film. This event is free and open to the public.
