Second Annual Appraisal Event

Millburn Short Hills Art Advisory committee announces their second annual Art Appraisal Event to benefit the committee's township Scholarship Award for Graduating AP artists going on to a four year Art College or Architectural School.  The Art Committee awards Artist’s supplies to both first prize and honorable mention recipients, many of whom have consistently made us proud as they go onto regional and National acclaim.  The Art Advisory Committee goes a step further by inviting these recipients back to Millburn from time to time to exhibit their new work.

This year's Fundraiser on April 30th at the Millburn Library from 1:00- 4:00 pm will be hosted jointly by the Art Advisory committee and the Internationally renowned Art Advisory company, Gurr Johns, of New York and London, UK.  Donation to the scholarship is $25.00 and includes two pieces to be appraised for that donation. Gurr Johns is the oldest independent Art Advisory and Appraisal company in America.  Their expertise in the art marketplace is well known and respected.  We on the committee are honored to have them as a partner in our mentoring of Millburn artists.

We will have several experts on hand for expert opinions on your paintings, rare books, porcelains, jewelry, even an expert in Chinese and Asian Art.  Come for a fun, enlightening afternoon!
