Tickets on Sale for Christ Church Gala Fundraiser
Christ Church in Short Hills announces tickets are on sale for the 2010 Gala, a fundraising event to support the historic church's buildings and grounds. Themed, "A Sense of Place, the Christ Church Gala will be held at the Short Hills Club on Saturday, October 23rd, beginning at 6:30 pm.
Co-chairs Helen Dwyer and Patricia Shewmaker are coordinating the special evening's festivities, which will include cocktails and dinner, live music and dancing, and both live and silent auctions.

During cocktails, piano music will be provided by resident and parishioner Bob Pyle, and later in the evening the popular band "Dirty Little Secrets," featuring residents and parishioners Jean Funk, Bill Harwood, will perform music of the 60s, 70,s and 80's.
Assemblyman Jon Bramnick, voted "Funniest Lawyer in New Jersey," will show off his auctioneering skills during the live auction. Auction items include golf outings to, theatre and dinner packages, vacation homes, and sports tickets.

Valet parking will be provided.
Three levels of tickets are available: $250, $175, and $125. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Christ Church office at 973-376-2898. A limited number of sponsorships are also available. More information can be found on the church's website at www.christchurchshorthills.org.
An Episcopal Church, Christ Church is located at the corner of Highland Avenue and Forest Drives in the heart of historic Short Hills. Regular Sunday Services are held at 8am and 9:30am.
