Trent Johnson in Beckerath Organ Recital Series

FINAL ORGAN RECITAL OF SEASON.  Trent Johnson, Director of Music and Organist of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Bernardsville, and also Music Director and Conductor of the Oratorio Singers and Orchestra of Westfield will present the final concert in this 40th Beckerath OrganRecital season.  Mr. Johnson is a graduate of the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University and The Juilliard School.  The program will include the World premiere of a new work by Mr. Johnson: Concert variations on "The Carnival of Venice."  Other major works to be performed: Max Reger, Introduction and Passacaglia in D minor; Johann Sebastian Bach, Prelude and Fugue in D Major; and Tommaso Albinoni, Adagio for Strings. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the Parish Hall.  Voluntary contribution of $10 is suggested at the door to help maintain the extraordinary Beckerath organ.  Concerts are presented by the Friends of Music of St. Stephen's Church, Millburn, NJ
