Community Congregational Church in Short Hills will hold Vacation Bible School during the week of Aug. 30 - Sept. 3, 2010 from 9am-2pm. Registrations are now being accepted for children ages 3 through entering 5th grade and the full-day camp experience is open to all who are interested. Non-church members are welcome to join with others from our town and surrounding communities for VBS!
The theme for Community Congregational Church's 2010 Vacation Bible School is "Baobab Blast" and children will participate in craft, games, science, music and drama classes centered on enhancing community and friendship, under the Baobab tree of the African savannah. Each day, children learn about a classic Bible story and the way faith and the Bible relate to their lives as pre-school and elementary school children.
Community Congregational Church has a long history of hosting VBS and is looking forward to this year's program. "VBS is a great way for children to learn about the Bible in a fun environment, while engaging in activities that are both entertaining and meaningful," said Rev. Jennifer Testa Hrynyk, the coordinator of Vacation Bible School and one of the ministers at the Church.

Children are grouped with others in their age bracket and activities are age-appropriate for each class. The Advance Registration Fee is $100 per child for the whole week or any part of it. To register your child(ren) for VBS, visit www.CommunityChurch.org and click on the VBS link.
Vacation Bible School is the beginning of the program year for children at Community Church, with Sunday school classes and Youth Choir Rehearsals beginning on September 12.
