On Friday, December 9 St. Rose of Lima Parish will host a special concert called "Waiting for the Light" featuring an award-winning singer songwriter Sarah Hart. The concert will be presented "cafe-style" at tables with food and beverages. The doors open at 7pm for socializing and the concert begins at 8pm. Sarah was nominated for a Grammy award last year for the Amy Grant hit "Better than a Hallelujah." She will be joined by the band Full Armor for an evening of contemporary Christmas music including selections from her just released CD, "The Winter's Eve." All are welcome (children who would enjoy Sarah's music are welcome to attend but must accompany a parent). Tickets for the concert are $20 to cover costs. Individuals or groups welcome (those wishing to "host" a group of friends/family may reserve a table of eight). The concert takes place in the St. Rose of Lima Academy auditorium.
