'Extreme Cold' Prompts Delayed School Start In Millburn

The extreme cold temperatures and wind chills expected prompted officials to start school two hours later.

MILLBURN, NJ - The extreme cold temperatures and wind chills expected have prompted the Millburn School District to call for a two hour delayed opening Thursday.

All schools will open two hours later than normal. Buses will pick up 2 hours later than their usual time. School ends at usual time.

  • Millburn High School 9:45 a.m. – 2:37 p.m.
  • Millburn Middle School 9:40 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • Elementary Schools 10:35 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Washington School 10:40 a.m. – 3:05 p.m.

Pre-School (at South Mountain School)

  • Pre-K A.M. (3-yr. olds): 10:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
  • Pre-K P.M. (4-yr. olds): 1:15 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.
  • Pre-K Self Contained: 10:45 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
