Four Teens Arrested Inside Short Hills Mall After Stolen Car Found Parked Outside

MILLBURN, NJ — After four police found a stolen Mercedes parked at the Mall at Short Hills, police were able to locate four suspects inside the mall, police said. The teens were arrested and charged.

The Millburn police said that on July 7, Officer Dalakian located a stolen 2015 Mercedes E500 parked at the mall.

Working with numerous other police officers, detectives, and the Summit Police, the suspects were located inside the mall, police said.

Ishyne Mathis, 19, was charged with receiving stolen property and later released on his own recognizance, police said.

Police also arrested and charged three juveniles, all 17, from Newark and East Orange, police said. Those three were also taken into custody and charged with receiving stolen property, police said.

The juveniles were released to parents/guardians.
