Free African Drumming Concert In Millburn

As the culminating event to their summer Drumming Camp, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church of Millburn and the PATCH (Parents and Their Children Program) will host a free public concert at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, at Taylor Park.

The concert, titled “Champion of Freedom: Honoring the Life of Nelson Mandela in Drumming, Dance and Song,” will be performed by the camp’s children, ages six to 12.

The week-long camp provides instruction in African Drumming, singing, dancing, arts and crafts.
