“We’re thrilled to bring back The Nerds, whose last performance is still fresh in our minds,” said foundation co-president Lauri Palomaki.
“Millburn/Short Hills is looking forward to an exciting night with phenomenal live music that will help raise much needed funds for our schools,” said co-president Robin Eichler.
According to event organizers:
“Millburn Schools Rock is The Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills’ largest source of funding each year. Through its grant system, the organization funds programs, technology and equipment that enhance the educational experience of the students. Last year’s event helped fund such items as STEAM cycle courses at Millburn Middle School, cycle desks, STEAM programs, and kinesthetic classrooms at the elementary level, and robotics, adventure course and film studio upgrades at Millburn High School.”
The Ed Foundation is still seeking sponsors at a variety of levels, directory advertisements and auction and raffle items. Contact event chairs Sonali Ganti at sonali@ganti.com, or Rumy Sidhu at rumy29@gmail.com to make a donation or with any questions.
