Glenwood Closes Strawberry Festival Season
The rains came early, but it cleared in time for the festival fun for the final time this spring.
At about 2:30 p.m., the dark clouds gathered over Millburn-Short Hills and it started raining very soon after. The Glenwood strawberry festival had already been pushed back one day because of weather concerns.
But by 3:15, the clouds started to push out and the rain ended to make way for the final strawberry festival of the season. There were plenty of games, rides and food—the usual fun that can be found at the strawberry festivals.
