Gucci Belt Worth $540 Stolen From Short Hills Mall
The crime isn't the price. Police arrested a man who they say shoplifted a $540 belt from the Mall at Short Hills.
MILLBURN, NJ — The Millburn police responded on Friday, Sept. 2 to a report of someone stealing a $540 belt from the Gucci store at the Mall at Short Hills.
Millburn Police Officer Larcom responded to Gucci at 4:25 p.m. that day. Associates told him that a man concealed the belt and left without paying. They described the shoplifter as 5’8”, bald, with an orange shirt.
Police were able to locate and arrest the man, identified as a 34-year-old man from Netcong.

He was charged with shoplifting and later released on his own recognizance.
