Health Care Company Opens Short Hills Office, Plans Major Hiring Spree
Endurance Home Care opened a new office in Essex County. The company plans to hire 200 to 300 employees in New Jersey over the next year.
MILLBURN-SHORT HILLS, NJ — A company that specializes in “tech-enabled home health services” is opening a new office in the Millburn-Short Hills area, and it plans to hire hundreds of employees over the next year, spokespeople say.
Endurance Home Care recently announced that it will be expanding into New Jersey with an office headquarters at 788 Morris Turnpike in Short Hills. Learn more here.
The business will serve communities across northern and central New Jersey – including Summit, Westfield, Chatham, Alpine, Saddle River, Franklin Lakes, Basking Ridge, Harding and Mendham – with expanded coverage extending to Atlantic City and the Jersey Shore. Meanwhile, 24/7 live-in care is available statewide.

Endurance Home Care currently has 50 employees in the New Jersey region, and plans to hire 200 to 300 in the state over the next year.
Endurance Home Care was founded in Connecticut by brothers Chris Weldon and Tom Weldon, alongside CEO Andrew Schwartz, a Scotch Plains resident.

The idea for the company was born out of the Weldons' personal experience.
While caring for their grandmother during her battle with dementia, the brothers saw firsthand where traditional home care fell short. Wanting to devote his career to work that directly supports families and his community, Chris retired from a finance career at age 37 to build a mission-driven home health agency alongside his brother and Schwartz.
Together, they developed artificial intelligence-powered technology that detects subtle health changes in seniors – before they turn into emergency room visits.
“Our growth is a testament to the fact that families are looking for more than traditional, reactive care—they want a digital safety net,” Schwartz said.
