Help Millburn Students Help Veterans
Students Aiding Veterans (SAVe) Warriors Club is running a district-wide goods collection on behalf of veterans in need.

MILLBURN, NJ - Helping those who served is the thrust behind Millburn High School's SAVe Warriors Club (Students Aiding Veterans) goods collection program on behalf of veterans in need. The drive is district-wide and the club has assigned each school in the district a different item for collection between Oct. 22 through Nov. 5.
The club also hosts a luncheon for veterans at the high school on Nov. 2.
The collection list is as follows:

Organization Collecting for: VVA (Vietnam Veterans of America)
- Millburn High School-collecting - Spare clothes/blankets (New or gently used mens, womens or childrens clothing and new or gently used blankets).
- Millburn Middle School-collecting -Spare clothes/blankets (New or gently used mens, womens or childrens clothing and new or gently used blankets).
- The Washington School-collecting -Mouthcare - mouthwash, toothbrush/toothpaste (Must be unopened and can either be travel or regular size)
- Deerfield Elementary School-collecting - Shampoo (Must be unopened and can be either travel or regular size)
- Wyoming Elementary School-collecting - Brushes/Combs(New either travel or regular size)
- South Mountain Elementary School-collecting -Socks (New)
- Glenwood Elementary School-collecting - Books (Hard cover or soft cover new or gently used however NO Readers Digests, National Geographics or Encyclopedias)
- Hartshorn Elementary School-collecting - Body Wash(Must be unopened and can be either travel or regular size).
The club is asking as a district to make a difference to veterans in need and donate the requested item to the bin located the schools, and to contact organizers if they know of a veteran who should be invited to the luncheon on Nov. 2.
