Here's Where To Get 5 Free Trees Next Friday In Millburn
Bare root tree seedlings, as tall as 2 feet, will be given away at 5 Essex County locations.
MILLBURN, NJ — In advance of Arbor Day (April 29 this year), Essex county residents can pick up seedlings for five trees next Friday or Saturday, courtesy of the state Department of Environmental Protection.
There are five locations in the county to pick up trees. In Millburn, you can grab your seedlings on Friday, April 22 at the DPW Recycling Center at 345 Essex St. between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
The seedlings are bare root tree seedlings, which come in lengths of six inches to two feet tall, in a bundle of five.

You don't need to register unless your municipality asks you to, but you must wear a mask, the state says. (See more information here).
There are also locations for pickup on Saturday, April 23 in Belleville Township, Bloomfield, Maplewood, and Verona.
