How Does Technology Affect The Brain? Find Out Wednesday

Summit, Berkeley Heights, Millburn, New Providence, and Chatham high schools tackle electronics overuse in program at Millburn High School.

MILLBURN, NJ - The impact of technology on learning and behavior is the topic of the third Parent Wellness Series presentation scheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Millburn High School Auditorium.

The program, Turned On & Tuned Out, will be presented by John Kriger, MSM, LCADC, CPS. Parents will discover how technology use is affecting the brain, how one learns, and one's behavior. Parents will be shown ways to manage technology use in the home and to reconnect family members.

According to organizers, John Kriger is a nationally and internationally recognized keynote speaker, author, and consultant. He holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Management and is a NJ Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor and is a Nationally Certified Prevention Specialist.

This event is a part of the Parent Wellness Series offered as part of the Consortium of Superintendents and Student Assistance Counselors from Summit, Berkeley Heights, Millburn, New Providence, and Chatham High Schools.
