MILLBURN, NJ — The National Weather Service predicted that 3-5 inches of snow would fall in Millburn by 11 a.m. Friday. Schools were already remote.
They predicted "moderate" snow for the morning commute.

Thursday Night: A chance of snow this evening, then snow after midnight. Snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. Lows in the upper 20s. North winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow near 100 percent.
Friday: Mostly cloudy with snow likely in the morning, then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Total snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches. Highs in the mid 30s. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of snow 60 percent.

Millburn DPW is out salting roads and prepping for snow accumulation. As the storm approaches, please remember:
- Please do not park cars on the street during snow events as this can impede timely plowing.
- Stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary.
- Do not shovel or plow snow into the roadway; it should be confined to the property behind your curbline.
- Clear snow from sidewalks within 8 hours of daylight after a storm ends.
