Identity Thief Arrested After Struggle: Millburn Police
Emilio Jimenez was charged with resisting arrest, police said.
MILLBURN, NJ - A 25-year-old Bronx, NY, man was arrested and charged with several crimes after an altercation with police on May 13, according to the Millburn Police Department.
According to authorities, Millburn Police Officers Lanni and Aliotta responded to Bloomingdale's on a fraud report where Bloomingdale's personnel reported Emilio Jimenez used a counterfeit license to open a Bloomingdale's charge account to charge $5,440 worth of merchandise.
Jimenez attempted to run from the store, however was apprehended after a brief struggle, police said. Jimenez was charged with identity theft, resisting arrest, and forgery and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility, police said.
