Jac Vanek Draws Crowd at Gotham

A line stretched around the block to meet the celebrity designer.

Erika Allen 10, and her mother Michelle waited patiently for over an hour to meet Jac Vanek.  The Livingston residents were one of six shoppers to win a private viewing with the photographer turned designer in Gotham City's JacAttack contest.

"She just got a little lost, she'll be here any second," co-owner of Gotham Gail Levy reassured the waiting girls.

The event drew a line of girls that stretched down the block and around the corner, all waiting to meet the designer.  But the six contest winners waited inside the store purchases in hand for Vanek to sign ahead of the crowd.

When Vanek arrived a few minutes later, Allen was too shy to hug her or even speak and settled on having Vanek sign her tee shirt.   Vanek herself was wearing a new bracelet, one featuring the numbers from the show "Lost."

"We're obsessed with 'Lost'" Vanek said to the girls.
