Local moms head to the movies while the kids are in school!
a morning movie series for moms at neighborhood theaters in Millburn, Chatham, Montclair and Ridgewood
When the kids head back to school, moms from all over our area head to the movies with The Matinee Club! Last year, over 1000 members enjoyed a monthly matinee from October to May with the group, which has been in operation for over a decade. The films start at 11:30 am, so there's plenty of time to make that 3 pm school run.
Members choose the day of the week and the location that suits their schedule best, and have their choice of two first-run films each month. Venues include the Bow-Tie Cinema in downtown Millburn, Robert's Chatham Theater in the Hickory Square Mall, the Clairidge theater in downtown Montclair, and Ridgewood's Warner Quad theater.
