Macy’s Worker Locked In Short Hills Mall After Falling Asleep: Millburn Police
The worker, a Union resident, allegedly fell asleep in the employee break room and woke up with the doors locked, a report says.

SHORT HILLS, NJ — An employee at the Macy’s in the Mall At Short Hills reportedly fell asleep during his shift and was locked inside the store on Sunday, authorities say.
The worker, a Union resident, fell asleep in the employee break room and was mistakenly locked in the store when personnel closed for the night, RLS Media stated.
When he woke up, the man reportedly found that the store was closed and he had no way out.

Macy’s personnel eventually responded to the scene on Sunday night and opened the door for the worker, a “relatively new” employee, Millburn Police Captain Michael Mulligan told Patch.
