Man Jailed After Macy's Theft: Millburn Police
Samad Bishop concealed nine items and took them from the store, police said.
MILLBURN, NJ - A 24-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged with shoplifting after an incident with authorities on July 13, according to the Millburn Police Department.
According to officials, Police Officer Hunt responded to Macy's on a theft report where personnel reported Samad Bishop concealed nine items on his person valued at $475.50 and left
the store without making payment.
Bishop was charged with shoplifting and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility, police said.
