Man Uses Child To Help Steal Sneakers: Millburn Police
Authorities say the $730 shoes were concealed in a stroller.
MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn Police Department is looking for a man who used a child as his accomplice to steal shoes from Luis Vuitton on March 16.
According to authorities, Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to the Louis Vuitton store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report where personnel reported a white male wearing a white t-shirt and jeans entered the store with a male child approximately 4-5 years of age.
The adult selected a pair of shoes valued at $730 and placed them on the ground near a stroller while speaking to the child. The man then went to speak to a store associate while the child concealed the shoes in the stroller and pushed the stroller out of the store with the man following, police said.

The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
