Marra's Closed for Renovations

If you're hoping to dine at Marra's Deli and Catering this week, you're going to have to wait at least a week.

The Main Street Italian eatery is closed this week as workers complete renovations as part of the work to convert Marra's from a deli into a restaurant. The Planning Board approved the conversion at a meeting in October.

The approval allows Marra's to have seating for up to 25 people and reduces how much parking the establishment needs. The parking requirement goes from 24 spaces to nine, although only two exist on the site. The board approved a parking variance. Included in the renovations are to install a new front to the restaurant, which will include a sliding glass door.
